Warehouse Manager

About the company

A prestigious import-trading company based in East Attica is seeking a Warehouse Manager, who will take responsibility for the organization, coordination, and supervision of daily warehouse and distribution operations, aiming for efficient supply chain operation and excellent customer service.

Your tasks

Main Responsibilities

• Organization, coordination, and supervision of daily warehouse operations, including setting priorities and effective task allocation.
• Management, guidance, training, and development of the warehouse team.
• Monitoring and coordination of receiving, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, order dispatch, and returns management processes.
• Ensuring the correct operation and utilization of the WMS system and the proper implementation of procedures.
• Monitoring inventory accuracy and the correct execution of stocktakes.
• Coordination of the daily distribution schedule, with order allocation between the owned fleet and partner transport companies, aiming for optimal resource utilization and timely customer service.
• Analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs), such as order fulfillment accuracy, productivity, preparation and delivery times, and implementation of actions to improve the quality and operational efficiency of the warehouse.
• Monitoring and controlling warehouse and distribution operating costs, aiming to improve economic efficiency.
• Close cooperation with other company departments to ensure the smooth operation of the supply chain.
• Planning and management of consumables, packaging materials, and other equipment required for the smooth operation of the warehouse.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety rules, cleanliness and organization of spaces, as well as the correct use and maintenance of equipment.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in a Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Manager position or a similar managerial role.
• Proven experience in managing, coordinating & leading personnel teams, with developed leadership skills, decisiveness, and the ability to motivate the team.
• Very good knowledge of warehouse processes (receiving, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, and stocktakes).
• Very good knowledge of WMS and ERP systems.
• Experience in using RF scanners or barcode systems.
• Ability to monitor and utilize performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ability for organization, planning, problem-solving, and effective management of daily priorities.
• Responsibility, ability to take initiative, team spirit, and developed communication skills.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Good knowledge of English.
