Mechanical Engineer

1. Engineering & Design

• Study engineering drawings, Specifications, and project technical documents • Prepare, check, and approve Shop Drawing, Fabrication Drawing, Detail Drawing, and As-built Drawing • Prepare Material Take-Off (MTO) and Bill of Material (BOM) • Design Jig, Fixture, and production aids to increase efficiency, safety, and work quality • Provide technical consultation and support to the production department, project department, and related units • Analyze and solve engineering problems occurring during production • Coordinate with the design department, customers, and external inspectors on engineering issues

1. Quality Assurance (QA)

• Establish and develop the factory's quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and customer requirements • Prepare and improve Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plan (ITP), Procedure, Method Statement, and Work Instruction • Control and manage quality documents to be complete, accurate, and traceable • Conduct Internal Audit and follow up on corrective actions • Coordinate audits from customers, certification bodies, and Third Party Inspector • Analyze quality data, prepare KPI, and report results to management • Implement Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA), including Root Cause Analysis • Promote Continuous Improvement activities such as PDCA, Kaizen, and Lesson Learned • Support the continuous development and improvement of factory work standards

1. Quality Control (QC)

• Supervise quality inspection standards at every stage of Fabrication work • Inspect Material Receiving and Material Test Certificate (MTC) • Inspect Fit-up, Alignment, Dimension, and the accuracy of assembly work according to engineering drawings • Support welding inspection with Welding Inspector and coordinate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) according to project requirements • Inspect readiness before testing, such as Hydro Test, Pneumatic Test, and Functional Test depending on the nature of the work • Prepare, follow up, and close Non-Conformance Report (NCR) issues • Prepare and inspect Manufacturing Record Book (MRB), Data Book, and quality documents before project handover • Support work acceptance inspections from customers and external inspectors

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field At least 3–5 years of experience in a Fabrication factory Knowledge of various types of machinery such as Laser Cutting Machine, CNC Plasma Cutting, Press Brake, Plate Rolling Machine, Band Saw, Lathe, Milling Machine, Radial Drill, MIG/TIG/SAW welding machines, Overhead Crane, Air Compressor, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems Able to read and prepare engineering drawings; able to use AutoCAD or SolidWorks Knowledge of Fabrication, Welding, Material Engineering, and Mechanical Design Experience in ISO 9001 systems and Quality Assurance work Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance and Reliability Engineering Proficient in Microsoft Office Able to communicate and read English at an intermediate level Able to prepare technical documents
