Job Overview We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor (QS) to support cost control, quantity take-off, tender preparation, subcontractor claims, and project commercial documentation for construction and interior works. This position is mainly office-based and will work closely with the project team, procurement team, subcontractors, and management to ensure accurate cost estimation, contract administration, and project cost monitoring. The ideal candidate should have experience in construction, interior fit-out, architectural works, or subcontractor environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Quantity Take-off & Cost Estimation

Prepare quantity take-off from drawings, specifications, and tender documents Prepare cost estimates, BOQ, and comparison sheets Review project drawings and identify scope gaps or unclear information Coordinate with project and technical teams to clarify work scope

1. Tender & Quotation Support

Support tender preparation for construction and interior works Request quotations from suppliers and subcontractors Prepare price comparison and cost analysis Assist in preparing commercial documents for bidding and project proposals

1. Contract & Commercial Documentation

Review contract documents, BOQ, scope of work, and commercial requirements Prepare and maintain project commercial records Support variation order preparation and claim documentation Track changes in scope, drawings, and site instructions

1. Subcontractor & Supplier Coordination

Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing, documents, and clarification Review subcontractor quotations and payment claims Support procurement and commercial teams in subcontractor evaluation Ensure cost information is accurate and properly documented

1. Project Cost Control

Monitor project cost against budget and BOQ Prepare cost reports and update project cost status Support monthly progress claims and payment applications Identify potential cost risks and report to management

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field Minimum 2–5 years of experience as QS / Quantity Surveyor / Cost Engineer Experience in construction, interior fit-out, architectural works, or subcontractor business Able to read drawings, specifications, BOQ, and contract documents Good knowledge of quantity take-off, cost estimation, and project cost control Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work with deadlines Good coordination and communication skills in English
