Senior Cost Accountant

Your tasks

1. Prepare and update Standard Cost and calculate product costs
2. Verify BOM (Bill of Materials) and Routing for accuracy
3. Analyze product costs and Cost Variance
4. Investigate causes of cost discrepancies and report to management
5. Identify cost reduction opportunities and assess financial impacts
6. Analyze large volumes of data from multiple systems and reconcile data
7. Verify the accuracy of financial and operational data
8. Periodically review costs and suggest improvement guidelines
9. Support product pricing through cost and Margin analysis

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2. 3-5 years or more of experience in cost accounting, especially in manufacturing industries
3. Knowledge of Standard Costing, Actual Costing, Cost Variance Analysis, Inventory Valuation, Manufacturing Cost Allocation, Cost Control
4. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
5. Ability to analyze large volumes of data
6. Good English communication skills
7. Ability to work with Production, Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain departments
8. Experience with SAP (required); experience with other ERPs will be specially considered
