Seamstress

main duties: - repairing defective or damaged parts of fabrics or clothing, using appropriate threads and needles; - removing seams from clothing for reworking using knives or razor blades; - selecting thread in accordance with specifications or the color of parts, or dyeing threads to match the color and tone of the fabric to be repaired; - darning holes, torn and split seams, or darning defective products using a needle and thread; - pulling knots to the inside of the clothing using hooks; - trimming threads with scissors to make the repaired parts resemble the rest of the fabric; - embroidering patterns over printed, calico, or stenciled patterns on fabric using a needle and colored threads; - embroidering patterns on fabric or using a sewing machine, using a needle and colored threads;

Requirements

Performance of duties according to Profstandard 33.015 "Specialist in repair and custom tailoring of sewn, knitted, fur, leather products, headwear, textile haberdashery products". the employment contract provides for the combination of professions (positions) seamstress+cutter. presence of experience and skills working on a programmable machine for cyclic sewing of programmed patterns along a contour and attaching small details along a contour. proficiency in working with drawings/patterns made in English
