Printing Equipment Setter

main duties: - setting up, adjusting, and controlling mechanisms with substrate feeding, feeder mechanisms, ink units, and other functional components of printing machines; - mixing ink and solvents in accordance with standards and regulating paper and ink feed during printing; - monitoring, evaluating, and determining printing machines to control print quality based on test prints, as well as identifying malfunctions; - manufacturing various printed products using digital, rotary, offset, flexographic, and gravure printing machines, as well as finishing systems integrated with the printing machine; - preparing printing plates, offset blankets, and printing cylinders for small-format offset printing machines; - loading paper into feeder mechanisms; - monitoring machine operation and print quality; - maintenance, adjustment, repair, and cleaning of machines; - obtaining digital images for printing, as well as transferring and outputting images.

Requirements

be able to perform: External inspection of simple printing equipment and study of technical documentation for the adjustment object. Preparation of the work area for free access to the adjustment object. Selection of technological tooling and instruments for performing the adjustment of printing equipment. be able to: Apply technical documentation (including working and assembly drawings) to printing equipment when performing adjustment work. Use technological tooling and instruments necessary for the adjustment of printing equipment. Use manual transport vehicles to move technological tooling and instruments necessary for the adjustment of printing equipment indoors. Use information and communication technologies to solve tasks for the adjustment of printing equipment, have skills in reading drawings in English. have skills in combining job duties with the position of sewing equipment operator.
