QA Engineer (Automation QA Engineer)

create and maintain test documentation: test plans, checklists, test scenarios (grouped by UI, API, data, integration areas), regression plans; maintain and develop the automation framework, write autotests for JavaScript components (Report Designer, Report Viewer) and their integrations with Angular, React, Vue, Svelte, Next.js, and vanilla JavaScript; embed autotests into CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines), ensure the stability and relevance of test coverage; test key scenarios: report rendering, export (PDF, Excel, HTML, CSV), data binding (JSON, REST API, runtime data binding), software API functionality; analyze specifications (PRD) for testability: identify missing scenarios, edge cases, and ambiguities; estimate testing effort and provide feedback to analysts via Confluence and Jira; participate in the creation and development of ActiveReportsJS products at all stages of the lifecycle.

Requirements

3+ years of software testing experience; experience in developing testing strategies and plans, analyzing results, and optimizing testing processes; knowledge of JavaScript; basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JSON; experience with automation frameworks Mocha / Jest / Cypress / Playwright; experience embedding autotests into CI/CD pipelines; English proficiency at a level sufficient for reading and writing technical documentation, as well as correspondence. Will be a plus: experience with Docker; knowledge of ReactJS and TypeScript; knowledge of Angular / Vue / Svelte; understanding of npm packages and library distribution (CDN, NPM); experience testing JavaScript libraries embedded in third-party applications.

Higher education — Specialist degree, Master's degree; Experience: 3 years
