Project Engineer for a Renewable Energy Company (m/f)

Responsibility for all engineering processes in the project, from the initiation stage and feasibility studies to execution and transition to operation. Leading the engineering design and its integration into the work plan and project timelines. Management and integration of the design between various disciplines, according to the project stages. Operating external consultants and internal professional resources and monitoring the receipt of engineering deliverables. Performing engineering feasibility studies and providing professional support in development processes and due diligence. Identification and analysis of engineering risks and providing recommendations that support commercial decision-making. Performing and analyzing energy production simulations for solar systems and storage systems. Managing the design of power systems in high voltage and extra-high voltage. Participation in professional discussions with the system manager, electric companies, and infrastructure entities in Israel and abroad. Working with technical consultants on behalf of financing and accompanying bodies. Leading processes with planning authorities, planning and building committees, government ministries, and regulatory bodies. Providing engineering support to development, execution, financing, and operation teams.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with preference for Electrical Engineering – Mandatory. At least 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer – Mandatory. Experience in the design and establishment of energy production facilities and energy storage systems. Experience in funded projects and working with technical consultants of accompanying bodies – Significant advantage. Experience in solar system design and PV plant yield analysis. Experience in managing and advancing complex engineering design processes. Experience in designing high voltage or extra-high voltage facilities – Advantage. Experience working with planning, regulatory, and electric company entities – Advantage. Proficiency in CAD systems – Mandatory. Proficiency in PVsyst – Mandatory. High level of English, written and spoken – Mandatory. Ability to work independently, systemic vision, and managing multiple interfaces and processes simultaneously.
