Procurement Buyer for a technological defense company in Basset Ono

A global public manufacturing technology company in Basset Ono is looking for a Procurement Buyer.

Integration into a small team reporting to the Procurement Manager.

Full responsibility for the procurement processes of mechanical and electronic components for complex products and systems, and for C-parts for the company. Working with suppliers in Israel and abroad, including managing commercial and technical negotiations and receiving quotations. Management of purchase orders, delivery times, costs, and inventory. Responsibility for the supply chain, including import/export processes. Improvement of procurement processes and cost efficiency. Routine work with Engineering, Production, Quality, Warehouse, and R&D.

• Practical experience in technological and industrial procurement with specialization in the procurement of mechanical parts (machining, cutting, castings, plastics, etc.), electronic, and electro-mechanical parts.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in an industrial / manufacturing technology / defense / electronics company – Mandatory!
• Experience working with global suppliers, including sourcing, evaluating, and qualifying suppliers.
• Technical understanding and experience working with drawings, technical specifications, BOM, and quality requirements, and dealing with Long Lead Time items, shortages, and engineering changes.
• Experience with Priority system – Significant advantage.
• High proficiency in Excel and English (speaking and writing).
• Ability to work independently alongside integration into a team.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
