Research Fellow in Urban Planning

• Development of innovative methods, algorithms, and approaches aimed at improving the urban planning design process; - Participation in the development of strategic and spatial planning documents; - Analysis of advanced domestic and foreign methods for planning the urban development of territories; - Participation in the development of regulatory documents in the field of urban planning; - Preparation of technical specifications for the development of documents and the performance of research work in the field of urban planning; - Processing, analysis, and systematization of statistical data; - Selection and analysis of regulatory legal acts (NPA), scientific-methodological, and other documentation (including foreign) for the performance of research work; - Economic analysis of the effectiveness of implementing urban planning solutions; - Preparation of analytical notes, reports, and presentations based on the results of completed research work; interaction with all structural units, including adjacent ones; - Participation in writing research papers, scientific, and popular science articles; - Participation in scientific conferences for the public presentation of research results;

Requirements

• Work experience of 3 years or more - Higher education in the fields of (urban planning, economic geography, economics in urban planning, national economy economics) - Priority universities: HSE, MSU, MARCHI, MADI, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, RANEPA, MGSU - Having two degrees in the fields of national economy economics and urban planning is an advantage; postgraduate studies and having an academic degree are welcomed - Experience in performing research work - Experience in developing territorial and strategic planning documents, territory planning, and urban design standards - Experience in assessing the economic efficiency of implementing urban development measures for territories - Knowledge of the regulatory, legal, and methodological framework in the field of architecture and urban planning - Skills in applying methodology and tools for spatial and urban planning analysis of territories - Knowledge of general concepts, methodologies, and approaches to urban design, planning, and the formation of a comfortable urban environment - Presence of publications and preprints in domestic and foreign scientific publications and repositories (indexed by Web of Science, Scopus) - Experience in public speaking in Russian and English - Skills in structuring, formatting, and presenting analytical information - Good command of English at level B2 and above - Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), Excel at the level of knowing formulas (logical, mathematical, statistical) - Skills in working with geographic information systems (Mapinfo, QGIS, ArcGIS, and others) are an additional advantage
