Industrial Weighing & Automation

Your tasks

The position mainly concerns inspection, fault diagnosis, maintenance, and repair tasks of electronic systems and weighing equipment at the company's facilities, as well as providing telephone technical support to customers.

Main Responsibilities

• Diagnosis and repair of electronic PCBs, circuits, and electronic devices at the component level.
• Use of laboratory equipment and measuring instruments for fault identification and restoration.
• Inspection, maintenance, and repair of electronic weighing indicators, industrial scales, and other weighing systems received for service.
• Checking proper operation and testing equipment after completing repairs.
• Assembly, wiring, and parameterization of electronic systems and individual components.
• Telephone technical support to customers for problem diagnosis, providing technical instructions, and addressing common malfunctions.
• Collaboration with field technicians and other technical departments to resolve technical issues.
• Recording repair work, technical interventions, and inspection results.
• Organization and monitoring of devices and equipment entering the laboratory for repair.

Important Information about the Position

• Work is primarily carried out at the company's facilities, in the electronics repair laboratory, and in the indoor service department.
• The scope includes both bench-level electronic PCB repair work and the inspection and repair of complete weighing systems.
• Telephone technical support to customers is part of the position's daily responsibilities.
• This is not a Field Technician position involving systematic travel and installations at customer sites.
• Technical training is provided on the products, weighing systems, and equipment supported by the company.

Requirements

It is addressed to candidates with a technical background in electronics, practical skills, and an interest in the repair and technical support of industrial equipment.

Required Qualifications

• University, TEI, IEK/SAEK, or Technical School degree with a specialization in Electronics or a related technical subject.
• Good knowledge of electronic circuits, components, and basic operating principles of electronic devices.
• Ability to read and understand electronic and electrical diagrams.
• Familiarity with the use of measuring instruments and laboratory equipment (multimeter, power supply, soldering iron, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of fault diagnosis and repair of electronic circuits.
• Good knowledge of the English language for understanding technical manuals and datasheets.
• Good knowledge of operating electronic computers.
• Good communication skills and proficiency in telephone customer service and support.
• Methodical approach, attention to detail, and ability to solve technical problems.
• Responsibility, consistency, and a spirit of cooperation.

Desired Qualifications – Will be Considered

• Previous experience in an electronics repair laboratory or a technical service department.
• Experience in the diagnosis and repair of electronic PCBs at the component level.
• Familiarity with soldering and desoldering techniques for electronic components (SMD, Through-Hole).
• Experience in using an oscilloscope and other specialized laboratory equipment.
• Knowledge of electricity, automation, or industrial electronic systems.
• Previous involvement with industrial scales, electronic weighing indicators, or Load Cells.
• Experience in assembly, wiring, and parameterization of electronic equipment.
• Ability for autonomous diagnosis and resolution of technical problems.
• Willingness for continuous training and development of new technical skills.
