Field Design Engineer, HVAC Automation Section (Automation of Heating and Ventilation Systems)

Execution of engineering and design work for HVAC automation sections directly on the construction site. Development and adjustment of design solutions for the automation of heating and ventilation systems. Comparison of actual site conditions with approved design and working documentation, identification of collisions, discrepancies, technical constraints, and other deviations preventing the implementation of design solutions. Verification of the compliance of automation solutions with the actual configuration of heating and ventilation systems (HVAC). Analysis and adjustment of automation diagrams, schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, equipment layout plans, and cable connections. Verification of solutions for the placement of sensors, actuators, control valves, drives, control cabinets, and other automation tools. Determination of necessary changes in automation systems taking into account the actual location of equipment and engineering utilities. Participation in the development of interface solutions between HVAC automation and HVAC systems, power supply, instrumentation and control, ICS TP, BMS, and other related systems.

Requirements

Higher technical education in the fields of Automation and Control, Automation of Technological Processes, Instrumentation and Control, or a related engineering specialty. At least 3 years of experience in design, field design, or engineering support for the construction of industrial facilities. Practical experience in the design and/or engineering support of heating and ventilation automation systems, including sensors, control valves, drives, automation cabinets, controllers, actuators, and interfaces with HVAC equipment. Knowledge of applicable building codes, standards, and requirements for the design of engineering systems. English language proficiency at a level sufficient for working with technical documentation and interacting with an international project team. Readiness for relocation to Ust-Luga for the project period and for working on the construction site.
