Design Engineer (CAD, power supply systems)
Development, adjustment, and maintenance of electrical drawings using AutoCAD and other approved CAD software. Development and updating of: single-line diagrams (SLD); power distribution plans; cable routing plans; cable tray and cable ladder/trough plans; grounding and lightning protection system drawings; electrical lighting plans; electrical equipment layout plans; electrical room plans; cable schedules / cable lists; connection and termination diagrams; typical installation drawings and details. Incorporating comments, corrections, and edits provided by engineers into the design documentation. Ensuring drawings comply with corporate CAD standards, Customer requirements, international standards, and project requirements. Interacting with electrical engineers and specialists from other engineering disciplines to coordinate interdisciplinary interfaces and resolve design clashes. Performing quality checks of drawings before release and documentation handover. Maintaining change history and version control of documentation in accordance with project procedures. Participating in the preparation of As-Built documentation. Ensuring consistency between drawings, technical specifications, calculations, and equipment data. Participating in the preparation of technical documentation packages for Customer review and approval, as well as for construction purposes. Ensuring systematic storage of electronic drawing files and design documentation.
Requirements
Higher professional education in electrical engineering, design, or a related technical field. Experience working as a CAD engineer/specialist in electrical design or as a design engineer on industrial or EPC projects — at least 4 years. Experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, power, or industrial construction projects is a significant advantage. Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. Knowledge of electrical drawings and their formatting standards. Understanding of the principles of electrical equipment placement, cable systems, and power distribution systems. Good knowledge of international drawing standards and requirements for maintaining engineering documentation. Attention to detail and high accuracy in work. English language proficiency sufficient for working with technical documentation and communicating in an international project environment. Readiness to relocate to Ust-Luga for the project period.
