Teaching methods of message comprehension: analysis, structuring, reorganization, transformation, comparison with other messages, identification of information necessary for the analyzer. Carrying out, together with students, the search for and discussion of changes in linguistic reality and society's reaction to them, forming in students a sense of the changing language. Using, together with students, sources of linguistic information to solve practical or cognitive tasks, in particular, etymological information, emphasizing the differences between the scientific method of language study and the so-called everyday approach (folk linguistics). Forming a culture of dialogue through the organization of oral and written discussions on problems requiring decision-making and conflict resolution. Organizing public speaking for students, encouraging their participation in debates at school conferences and other forums, including internet forums and internet conferences. Forming in students an attitude toward communication in the widest possible context, including hypermedia formats. Stimulating students' messages about an event or object (a story about a trip, a family event, a play, etc.), analyzing their structure, the linguistic and visual means used. Discussing with students examples of the best works of fiction and scientific prose, journalism, advertising, etc. Encouraging individual and collective literary creativity of students. Encouraging student participation in theatrical productions, stimulating their creation of animation and other video products. Modeling types of professional activity where communicative competence is the primary quality of a worker, including interested students (publishing a school newspaper, a literary or scientific almanac, organizing school radio and television, developing a script for a theatrical production or a video film, etc.). Forming in students the ability to apply the norms of modern literary Russian in oral and written speech in practice. Forming in students a culture of referencing publication sources, citing, comparing, engaging in dialogue with the author, and preventing copyright infringement.
