Technician

Your tasks

Conducts testing of technological equipment, including experimental work to verify and master designed production technological modes; Exercises control over the gradual formation of glass ribbon; Upon detection of defects, makes changes to the glass ribbon formation process; Performs repair and adjustment, tuning works in the melt bath area; Ensures the formation of appropriate production conditions and timely and maximally economical production in accordance with required quality standards; Continuously monitors the work process; Maintains continuous accounting of raw material supplies; Ensures economical consumption of energy, raw materials and auxiliary products, natural resources, and also takes measures required to reduce/prevent excessive expenditure and consumption; Monitors the schedule and deadlines for maintenance and equipment to ensure timely execution; In case of emergency situations, ensures production safety; In case of complaints and warnings from customers and quality assurance services regarding product quality, conducts necessary investigations; Maintains accounting of all production materials and takes timely measures to ensure required stocks; Actually participates in all performed cold and hot repair works (furnaces/baths), maintenance works, and equipment replacement;

Requirements

Higher completed education (Specialty: Production Automation);

• Knowledge of policies, goals, and objectives in the field of quality, occupational health and safety, environmental protection, and ensuring energy efficiency;
• Knowledge of the physical and chemical properties of glass materials, properties of glass mass, properties of stress retention in glass;
• Knowledge of the production technology of the manufactured glass products;
• Knowledge of English and Turkish languages at C1 level (conversational level);
• Work experience in the glass industry for 1 year or more;

Higher education — specialty, master's degree; Experience: 3 years
