Track Design Engineer Wanted

We are looking for a Track Design Engineer with a passion for engineering, design, and railway infrastructure, to join a leading professional team and take part in the design and implementation of track systems in a complex and innovative railway project. This is a significant role that allows for working in an advanced engineering environment, alongside railway and infrastructure experts from Israel and around the world.
What will you do in this role?
Supporting the engineering and design activities of the track systems in the project. Preparing basic design of track systems, including:
- Track Alignment
- General Arrangements
- General technical specifications for design and installation
- Earthing & Bonding
- Interfaces between systems
Performing and accompanying technical tests of equipment, components, and engineering solutions offered by suppliers. Routine work with:
- Track engineering teams
- Multidisciplinary design teams
- Project managers
- Customers
- Suppliers and subcontractors
Providing engineering support to execution, quality, and testing teams on-site. Updating As-Built drawings and engineering documentation. Participating in continuous improvement processes and Lessons Learned (REX).
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in the field of track engineering or railway projects.
- Knowledge and understanding of track components and Trackwork systems.
- Knowledge in geotechnical design and/or structural calculations.
- Familiarity with Track Alignment design.
- Deep understanding of track design principles, standards, and methodologies in the railway field.
- Proficiency in software: AutoCAD Microsoft Office
- English at a very good level.
Significant Advantage
- Proven experience in Slab Track / Ballastless Track design.
- Experience in light rail, metro, or high-speed rail projects.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D.
- Experience working with complex engineering interfaces.
