Process Engineer (Technologist)

A position is open at a plant in Sobinka (Vladimir region): Process Engineer / Technologist

Responsibilities:

• Solving technological problems on production lines through standardization of the technological process and employee training
• Analyzing the causes of losses and reducing other losses on production lines (time losses, material costs, losses of raw materials and packaging materials on production lines) and implementing projects for their reduction
• Participating in the implementation of projects for launching new products or modifying existing products together with the business development department and the Research and Development (R&D) department
• Ensuring the production of finished goods that meet established quality standards, Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Continuous improvement of the implementation of these standards into production practices
• Continuous improvement of production processes in terms of reducing quality defects, raw material losses, and packaging material losses
• Implementing lean manufacturing approaches in accordance with company plans
• Solving existing and newly arising technological problems, working on preventing the recurrence of problems on equipment
• Developing and introducing technological standards, production instructions, regulations, and other documents for the organization of production processes
• Providing technological support to production personnel during the implementation of improvement initiatives (Kaizen process)
• Participating in the review of product safety issues, reviewing and analyzing internal non-conformities, claims from clients and consumers, and implementing improvements to prevent recurring complaints
• Analyzing the production performance indicators of the line team and preparing proposals for their improvement
• Working with material suppliers to resolve issues regarding the quality of the manufactured product and compliance with the production technology
• Controlling the compliance of specifications for manufactured products, recipes (Bill of Materials) in the SAP system, and work instructions for the use of raw materials and packaging materials
• Analyzing the environmental impact of the production technological process. Developing and implementing proposals to reduce environmental impact.

Requirements:

• Higher education (technological / food technologies)
• Work experience in the food production field of at least 1 year
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools
• Proficient computer user in basic MS Windows programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
• Knowledge of English (written) - Pre-intermediate
• Communication skills, ability to work in a team.
