Head of Information Technology and Information Protection Department of the Olenegorsk City Administration

• Organizes and participates in the creation and ensuring the reliable functioning of the LAN, computing equipment and office equipment, software, digital telecommunications tools, and information systems.
• Organizes and exercises control over user access to LAN resources, the public Internet, and the resources of the information systems used.
• Provides electronic mail services for users, user registration, and assigns identifiers and passwords.
• Leads activities for the modernization of the structured cabling system, active network equipment, servers, and LAN workstations, as well as the deployment and implementation of new software complexes and information systems.
• Organizes workstations for users and ensures technical maintenance of computing equipment. Installs user and network programs on servers, workstations, and personal computers. Organizes and exercises control over the correct operation of computer and office equipment.
• Leads activities to maintain in working order the software of servers, workstations, personal computers of users (both connected and disconnected to the LAN), and office equipment. Leads activities to eliminate server, computing equipment, network equipment, and software malfunctions using the department's resources.
• Develops and implements information security measures. Coordinates and controls activities to ensure information security regarding information systems. Performs planning of work to protect information and prevent its leakage through technical channels. Develops proposals for the organization and improvement of the information protection system.
• Organizes technical preparation and support for conducting video conferences, forums, hearings, and other public events.
• Organizes and participates in activities for the procurement of goods, works, and services for the purpose of creating informatization systems, participates in the development of technical specifications, the implementation of these systems, and their commissioning.
• Coordinates activities for the development of municipal programs in the field of informatization (if necessary) and participates in their implementation.
• Participates in the organization and conduct of seminars on information protection issues. Provides methodological assistance to employees of the Olenegorsk City Administration and its structural subdivisions on matters within the department's competence.
• Develops and coordinates drafts of municipal legal acts on information protection issues; develops organizational, administrative, and methodological documentation on information protection issues.
• Investigates the causes and conditions of violations in the information protection systems of informatization objects or the LAN, develops proposals to eliminate deficiencies and prevent violations, and exercises control over their elimination.
