Junior Researcher
- Conducting research and experiments to optimize the parameters of a cesium vapor optical pumping quantum magnetometer, including laboratory and field tests. Development, assembly, and preparation of laboratory setups and test benches. Development of software and methodologies, processing of experimental data, and preparation of test/research protocols. - Collection, analysis, and systematization of scientific and technical information in the field of optical pumping quantum magnetometers, quantum rotation sensors, as well as their components (cells, laser emitters, etc.). - Preparation of scientific and technical reports, patent research reports, design, technological, and scientific documentation for the performed R&D (work stages). - Participation in the implementation and practical application of work results. - Preparation and publication of scientific articles on the topic of optical pumping quantum magnetometers and rotation sensors. - Performing simulation modeling and confirmatory calculations of physical processes of quantum devices using modern methods of mathematical and computer modeling (MATLAB, Python).
Requirements
Total number of scientific, design, and technological works, including: -published works - 20 pcs.; -published periodic publications - 1 pc. Number of created results of intellectual activity, including: -recorded in state information systems - 2 pcs. -having state registration and (or) legal protection in the RF - 2 pcs. Number of publications indexed in Russian and international information-analytical scientific citation systems: -Russian Science Citation Index - 15 pcs. - Google Scholar - 2 pcs. Work experience in the field of quantum magnetometry and gyroscopy - at least 4 years. Availability of: -experience in participating in the development of scientific and technical reports and patent research reports on the topic of quantum gyroscopy and magnetometry; -experience in participating in the development of laboratory test benches for controlling the parameters of quantum devices and their components (cells, lasers, etc.); -experience in participating in research and testing of quantum devices and their components; -experience working with shielding materials (including amorphous ones); -experience in preparing FIPS applications for utility models and/or inventions; -experience in preparing winning applications for participation in grants and competitions (including St. Petersburg Government awards) - at least 5 pcs.; -experience in participating in international conferences with presentations - at least 5 times; -experience in participating in conferences (except international) with presentations - at least 20 times; -project and/or pedagogical activity experience - at least 3 years; -experience in leading sections of scientific and technical conferences; -experience working with ProEngineer, Matlab, Excel; -knowledge of the Python programming language; -knowledge of English at a conversational and technical level, no lower than Intermediate; Higher professional education (Master's degree) in the field of engineering sciences (preferably specialty 24.04.02 "Motion Control and Navigation Systems")
