Technician (Physics Lab)

1. Maintain and repair departmental tools/equipment to ensure readiness for use
2. Manage requests for tool usage and provide consultation to users of the Physics Workshop laboratory
3. Coordinate teaching and learning management for courses with out-of-classroom activities between instructors, teaching assistants, and students
4. Design, create, and assemble experimental setups and inventions in collaboration with departmental personnel
5. Prepare equipment for academic service activities and serve as a guest speaker assistant
6. Participate in the procurement of materials and equipment used collectively in the department
7. Report defects and operational problems to immediate supervisors
8. Other assigned tasks

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field Skills and experience in maintaining or repairing physics tools/equipment, both mechanical and electrical Skills in projects, research, and inventions; ability to design, improve, and create new experimental setups or innovative prototype equipment involving electronics, microcontrollers, and interfaces; experience in medical instruments will be given special consideration Good communication skills; ability to create instructional media in collaboration with instructors Skills in analysis, identifying key points, and summarizing, as well as the ability to collect data to develop information systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer troubleshooting skills Ability to work in a team, with responsibility, good interpersonal skills, and a positive work attitude Patience and the ability to work under pressure Basic listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in English
