Section Manager – Raw Material Quality Control(TUI)
1) Manage incoming raw material inspection tasks Plan, control, and supervise the raw material sampling process from both manufacturing plants and cold storage facilities according to the defined plan, including recording and reviewing supporting photographs. Inspect the integrity, cleanliness, and temperature control of Containers and packaging during transport. Review and approve inspection reports from officers to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Follow up on problem-solving when Non‑conformance is found in collaboration with relevant departments. 2) Sampling system and laboratory coordination Supervise raw material sampling and the submission for analysis to internal/external laboratories according to the plan. Track test results, analyze risk trends, and propose quality control guidelines. 3) Packaging Quality Control Inspect the quality and integrity of all types of incoming packaging to ensure compliance with specifications and food safety standards. Supervise packaging sampling for physical/chemical property testing, including Migration testing as appropriate. Coordinate with Procurement, QA, and Suppliers when non-conformance is found, and follow up on CAPA until the issue is closed. Improve receiving standards and packaging acceptance criteria in collaboration with relevant departments to align with international requirements. 4) Supplier Audit (Domestic and International) Plan and conduct supplier audits according to the company's GMP/HACCP/ISO/FSMS standards. Prepare clear English audit reports, specifying deficiencies, recommendations, and defining follow-up plans (CAPA Tracking). 5) Team Management Supervise and develop the Raw Material QC officer team to perform according to standards and goals. Organize employee work schedules to align with missions and labor laws. 6) Internal and External Coordination Coordinate with Cold Storage, Logistics, Production, Procurement, QA, and Suppliers regarding the receiving of raw materials and packaging. Follow up on COA, Health Certificate, and other supporting documents from Suppliers to ensure completeness. Report food quality and safety issues to supervisors immediately upon finding deviations. 7) Equipment and Workspace Control Maintain measuring instruments, equipment, and inspection areas to be clean, intact, and ready for use. Check the Calibration status of used instruments and coordinate calibration as scheduled. 8) Compliance Comply with
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology, Fisheries Science, Biology, or other related fields. At least 3-5 years of experience in raw material quality inspection. Able to work 6 days/week and can occasionally travel to provinces or abroad for work. Experience in Supplier Audit and possesses data analysis and quality problem-solving skills. Good English communication skills; able to draft and write reports in English independently. Knowledge of standard systems related to food production such as GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000 will be specially considered.
