Development, optimization, and validation of high-resolution chromatography-mass spectrometry methods (LC-HRMS / Orbitrap) for the analysis of biological material samples. Performing complex sample preparation of biological material. Multiplex analysis and search for protein biomarkers of infectious diseases, synergistic host-pathogen response, and mechanisms of antimicrobial resistance. Interpretation of results using multivariate statistics methods (e.g., Random Forest, PCA) for epidemiological modeling and identification of regional pathogen characteristics. Monitoring the technical condition of the Orbitrap system, performing calibrations, cleaning the ion source, and interacting with the service department. Training junior researchers and laboratory assistants. Writing materials and publications based on the results of the work. Preparing reports for conferences
Requirements
Education: advantage for PhD / Candidate of Sciences (biological, chemical, or medical), preference for graduates of departments of biochemistry, molecular biology, or bioinformatics Language proficiency: English/French - level sufficient for reading and writing materials Ability to work in analytical software packages (e.g., MassHunter, Analyst, Xcalibur), as well as in office programs for report preparation Not less than 3-5 years of work in the field of quantitative proteomics (DIA, DDA, PRM/SRM methods) or metabolomics on high-resolution instruments Ability to match mass spectra with genomic databases (NCBI, UniProt) for the identification of strains and mutations Proven experience working on Thermo Orbitrap mass spectrometers (Q Exactive, Exploris, or Tribrid series) 1-3 years. Deep understanding of modern proteomic pipelines (DIA, TMT-labeling, targeted proteomics PRM). Knowledge of the principles of evidence-based medicine, experience participating in research projects or clinical trials Experience working with nucleotide sequence and protein structure databases
