Assistant Controller

In the professional and financial reporting department of Strauss, you will work alongside experts in the field, gaining exposure to cross-organizational processes and decision-making within the Strauss Group in Israel and worldwide!

What does the role include?

• Leading financial reporting processes, control, and the implementation of IFRS standards within the Strauss Group
• Participation in the preparation of the Group's quarterly and annual financial statements
• Professional work with business units in Israel and abroad and providing accounting advisory
• Preparation of analyses, working papers, and accounting memos on complex topics
• Monitoring changes in standards and regulation and their implementation within the organization

Requirements:

• Certified Public Accountant with one year of experience in accounting / auditing from the BIG 4, or an accounting intern with at least one year of internship (after completing the Council exams)
• Experience from a professional department
• High level of English
• Technological orientation and familiarity with AI tools for streamlining work processes
