Chief Specialist for VTS (Vessel Traffic Service) Technical Support
ensure the functionality and operational readiness of assigned equipment (personal computers (PC) of automated workstations (AWS) of the vessel traffic service system, radar process PCs, radio equipment and antenna-feeder devices of VTS and Automatic Identification System (AIS), meteorological stations, video surveillance equipment, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), chargers, batteries); be responsible for information security in VTS; be responsible for the transport security of assigned transport infrastructure objects; travel to serviced areas and objects to perform maintenance and troubleshooting on assigned equipment, including at heights; conduct daily monitoring of the technical condition of AWS PCs, hardware, radio equipment and antenna-feeder devices, radar processes; organize and monitor the troubleshooting of AWS PCs, hardware, radio equipment and antenna-feeder devices; constantly monitor the technical condition, perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of backup power supplies (UPS, battery chargers); perform periodic monitoring of the technical condition of antenna-feeder devices of radio-technical posts (RTP), as well as organize and monitor the troubleshooting of antenna-feeder devices of radio-technical posts (RTP); prepare and support business correspondence and documents on matters related to assigned technical means and antenna-feeder devices; maintain technical and operational reporting documentation on the maintenance, condition, and repair of technical means and antenna-feeder devices.
Requirements
secondary vocational education with at least 3 years of practical work experience in the field of operation of radio-electronic equipment or higher education with at least 1 year of experience in the operation of radio-electronic equipment; technical English at the level of reading specialized literature.
