Technical Procurement Buyer for a leading factory in the Rosh Pina area

A leading factory in the Rosh Pina area is looking for a Technical Procurement Buyer.

Areas of responsibility and authority:

• Performing procurement activities in various fields against local suppliers and foreign suppliers and managing production processes at suppliers and subcontractors (issuing orders, expediting deliveries, etc.).
• Sourcing procurement sources and subcontractors, negotiation and cost reduction, and shortening delivery times.
• Collection and characterization of procurement needs against internal customers.
• Supplier management and retention.
• Working with interfaces - warehouses, production departments, engineering, production planning and control (PPC), maintenance, quality, accounting, etc.

Full-time position.

• Bachelor's degree / Mechanical Engineering Technician - advantage.
• Previous experience in procurement and outsourcing in the metal world (machining) / polymers (plastic injection) / subcontracting - 3-5 years - mandatory.
• Experience working in an industrial organization - mandatory.
• Ability to read drawings and engineering specifications - mandatory for the metal world only.
• Good level of English - mandatory.
• Experience working in a computerized environment - mandatory: excellent level of Excel, ERP - mandatory, SAP - advantage.
