Research, development, design, prototyping, and testing of optoelectronic devices and systems in the creation of high-precision measuring instruments and methods.

Requirements

An Optoelectronics Engineer must possess knowledge in the fields of geometric and wave optics, laser technology, the physics of laser radiation sources and receivers, fiber optics, the field of instruments for measuring optical radiation parameters, as well as related electronics, analog and digital signal processing. Professional knowledge must enable the ability to: - perform mathematical modeling of optoelectronic devices based on standard software packages (Zemax, Altium Designer, MATLAB, etc.), programming skills are preferred, - select and calculate typical optical schemes, calculate optical and optoelectronic devices and systems, - calculate and design main parts and assemblies of optical and optoelectronic devices and systems for scientific research, orientation and navigation, high-precision measurements, and information processing. Work experience is not required; however, practical skills in the listed areas will be an advantage. Knowledge of English at a level sufficient for reading technical literature and conducting business correspondence is required.
