Accountant for the Financial Reporting Team

EL AL is recruiting a post-internship Accountant for the Accounting Department for a full-time position at the company's headquarters in Ben Gurion Airport

As part of the role:

The team is responsible for financial reporting, an opportunity to take part in significant activity, deal with diverse accounting and business issues, develop professionally, and gain unique experience in a challenging and interesting business environment.

• Preparation and analysis of monthly reports for management
• Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards and the requirements of the Israel Securities Authority
• Preparation of analyses and accounting issues
• Responsibility for monthly and quarterly closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and controls
• Preparation of regulatory reports and reports to entities in Israel and abroad
• Maintenance and development of the reporting and group consolidation system (oracle EPM)

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

• Holder of an academic degree
• Advantage for graduates of one of the Big4 firms
• High proficiency in excel
• Suitable for an initial role after internship, interested in joining the financial reporting team of a public company.
• Very good command of English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Familiarity with SAP system - an advantage.
