El Al is recruiting an Accountant after internship for a full-time position at the company's headquarters in Ben Gurion Airport

As part of the role:

• Responsibility for the correct financial reporting of the company entities under your responsibility, in accordance with accepted accounting principles and company procedures.
• Approval of journal entries, including payments in the SAP system.
• Checking and approving invoices prior to payment, in accordance with company procedures, local laws, and the budget framework.
• Supervision and control of division performance against the budget, in cooperation with the Economics and Budget Department.
• Responsibility for preparing and reporting a weekly cash flow forecast for the divisions under your responsibility.
• Responsibility for monthly closing processes, performing analytical reviews, and producing management reports.
• Assisting in the preparation of professional analyses, reports, and surveys in the field of responsibility.
• Checking and approving new agreements with suppliers and service providers.
• Professional supervision and management of the work of accountants within the field of responsibility.

The position is in the company's offices in Israel, and as part of it, international travel and performing additional tasks according to the supervisor's instructions are required.

The position requires the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, high analytical ability and attention to detail, and a high level of responsibility, order, and organization.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with an academic degree
• Advantage to a graduate of one of the Big4 firms
• Suitable for an initial role after internship.
• Very good command of English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Familiarity with the SAP system - an advantage.
• Experience in managing employees - an advantage
