Product Engineer

Main job responsibilities: Analysis of technical product requirements, development of technical solutions, and drafting technical specifications for development; Defining product architecture and appearance; Setting and documenting requirements for product development; Controlling the implementation of requirements, coordinating the work of hardware and software development teams; Participating in the development of supporting documentation; Organizing and conducting certification, load, functional, etc., tests and participating in them; Interacting with clients and certification bodies, participating in presentations; Technical support for serial production and operation of supervised products; Participating in the installation, adjustment, and commissioning of supervised products on enterprise test benches and at customer sites; Technical support for related departments regarding the supervised product.

Requirements

General requirements: Higher technical education; At least 2 years of work experience in the field of marine automation; Technical English. Knowledge: Regulations and standards in the shipbuilding industry; Product development and manufacturing process; Reading and understanding technical documentation for products; Understanding UX design principles (a two-way interface creation process combining functionality and aesthetics); Product certification rules. Skills: Product market and customer needs analysis; Analysis of similar products from the Company's competitors; Gathering and formulating product requirements; Developing product development strategy; Release planning (defining timelines and stages of product release); Monitoring and evaluating the product situation in the market; Preparing product documentation. Candidates who graduated from Admiral S.O. Makarov State University of Maritime and Ocean Engineering without relevant work experience are being considered.
