Consultant for Paints, Varnishes, and Chemical Products

1. Consult on the selection and application of materials, taking into account operating conditions, surfaces, application technology, and customer requirements. 2. Conduct technical assessments of analogues and product replacements, including checking material compatibility and risks to coating quality. 3. Participate in tripartite technical negotiations with Chinese specialists, suppliers, manufacturers, and customers. 4. Request and analyze technical documentation, clarifying compositions, characteristics, application limitations, and technological parameters. 5. Support quality claims, organize technical communication with the manufacturer, and participate in identifying the causes of non-conformities. 6. Prepare professional technical reports in Russian, Chinese, and English.

Requirements

1. Proven practical experience working specifically with Nippon products for at least 3 years: selection, application, technical support, claims, analysis of coating defect causes, or interaction with the manufacturer. 2. Deep knowledge of Nippon's assortment and technologies in the following areas: industrial coatings, automotive coatings, primers, enamels, varnishes, hardeners, thinners, anti-corrosion, and special coatings. 3. Understanding of coating chemistry: compositions, functions of binders, pigments, fillers, solvents, additives, hardeners, and coating formation mechanisms. 4. Chinese language C2, including professional technical and chemical terminology; ability to conduct negotiations, analyze TDS/SDS, specifications, test reports, and technological instructions without an interpreter. 5. Advanced English level, sufficient for confident participation in technical calls and correspondence with engineers, technologists, and manufacturer representatives. 6. Experience in technical negotiations with Chinese plants, R&D departments, laboratories, or the manufacturer's technical service. 7. Experience working with TDS, SDS/MSDS, COA, specifications, quality certificates, test reports, and product composition data. 8. Experience in the B2B segment of industrial or automotive paints and varnishes will be a significant advantage.
