The Rheumatology Institute of the Tel Aviv Medical Center in Ichilov is recruiting a Research Intern.

Job Description: Responsibility for the coordination, management, and day-to-day operation of clinical trials, from the preparation and startup phase until the completion of the study, while ensuring compliance with the protocol, regulatory requirements (GCP), and institutional procedures, and in close cooperation with investigators, clinical teams, Sponsors, and regulatory bodies.

Main Areas of Responsibility

  • Coordination and leading the ongoing activity of clinical trials (academic and commercial).
  • Preparation for study startup: submissions to the Helsinki Committee, preparation of regulatory documents, contracts, budgets, and required approvals.
  • Working with Principal Investigators, medical and nursing teams, Sponsors, CROs, and monitors.
  • Coordination of study visits and supporting participants throughout the study.
  • Collection, entry, and management of study data (CRF / eCRF) while ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Management of study documentation (Trial Master File / Investigator Site File) in accordance with GCP requirements.
  • Coordination of monitoring visits, inspections, and audits, and preparing the site for regulatory inspections.
  • Monitoring timelines, milestones, and meeting study objectives.
  • Working in accordance with institutional procedures, the Ministry of Health, and relevant international regulation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences / Medicine / Nursing / Health Professions.
  • Familiarity with GCP principles and clinical regulation.
  • Experience in coordination or management of clinical trials - an advantage.
  • Organizational skills, orderliness, and attention to detail alongside multitasking abilities.
  • High interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Very good command of English (reading, writing, and speaking).

Employment Scope: Full-time, Sun-Thu, 8 working hours per day.
