Technical Manager

For a unique facility in the establishment stages and the first of its kind in Israel, including a waste treatment and energy conversion complex in the south, a Technical Manager is required.

Job Description:

Responsibility for the entire equipment system at the site, including machinery, support systems (boiler, turbine, steam systems, water, air treatment, sorting systems, support systems, etc.), HEM vehicles, forklifts, and building maintenance.

During the establishment stage –

• Inspecting equipment and preparing it for runs
• Building equipment files
• Training technical employees
• Building a preventive maintenance plan
• Responsibility for the maintenance team (including electricity, mechanics, etc.)
• Engineering knowledge center for the plant maintenance field
• Response to breakdown faults
• Control over maintenance routines
• And responsibility for the maintenance of infrastructure, buildings, and yards
• Handling regulatory processes in the fields of environmental quality, energy, and fire fighting
• Managing the work of external contractors in the fields of activity
• Responsibility for technical equipment inventory, including technical purchase orders
• Contact with external parties and service providers
• Receiving equipment during the installation stage and preparing it for the runs stage

Mechanical Engineer/ Mechanical Technician - Mandatory

• Experience in maintenance management in process industries and management of building and yard maintenance
• Experience in mechanics, rotating equipment, and similar
• Experience in building and leading breakdown and preventive maintenance
• Knowledge in reading blueprints and parts design
• Initiative, task completion, responsibility, and dedication
• High level of English
