Strategy Development: Creating long-term business development plans, market and competitor analysis, and searching for new revenue streams. Sales Management: Controlling the work of the sales department (often through heads of departments), setting plans, and tracking key metrics. Marketing and Promotion: Coordinating marketing activities to build a unified customer acquisition funnel. Procurement and Logistics Management: Controlling product cost, supply terms, and inventory turnover (depending on the specifics of the business). Financial Planning: Participating in budgeting, expense control, pricing, and profitability analysis. Working with key partners: Conducting strategic negotiations with major clients and suppliers.
Requirements
Relevant experience. Usually, 5–7 years of experience in management positions in sales or marketing is required (for example, as a Head of Sales or Development Director). Successful track record. Proven experience in increasing revenue, launching new products, or successful entry into new markets. Strategic planning. Ability to develop a commercial strategy for the company several years ahead. Sales and Marketing Management. Deep understanding of modern sales channels, the sales funnel, digital marketing tools, and pricing. Financial literacy. Ability to work with budgets (P&L), read financial statements, calculate unit economics, ROI, and margin. Analytical thinking. Skill in market analysis, demand forecasting, and assessing competitor actions. Leadership and Team Management. Experience in forming, motivating, and developing strong teams (sales, marketing, procurement). Negotiation skills. Ability to conduct tough negotiations at the C-level and with key clients. Result orientation. A high level of personal responsibility for the achievement of the entire company's KPIs. Stress resistance and adaptability. Ability to make quick decisions under conditions of uncertainty and a changing market. Knowledge of English and Polish (at Upper-Intermediate level and above) is mandatory for international companies or when working with import/export.
