Junior Economist for the Finance Team, Hanson Company

Hanson Israel is looking for a junior economist for the finance team.

Job Description:

Performing monitoring and control of the company's cash flow, including daily and long-term forecasts and cash flow projections. Management of deposits, loans, and foreign currency purchases from banks/group headquarters abroad. Calculation of KPI metrics and monitoring their development. Routine work with the company's headquarters abroad. Management of fixed assets and CAPEX investments. Performing monthly inventory controls. Performing various economic analyses and reports for management. Performing monthly closings in the finance department. Monitoring and controlling expenses. Calculation and management of lease agreements in accordance with the IFRS16 accounting standard. Building various economic reports for the purpose of improving processes in the finance department. The company is located in Bourse, Ramat Gan, in proximity to the train station and the light rail station.

*Full-time position. 5 days a week from the office only (flexibility in start time) mandatory - twice at the beginning of the month to stay for the monthly closing*

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics/ Business Administration/ Accounting - mandatory
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in a large company. Preference for a global company.
• High level of English - a test will be conducted.
• Very high proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, tables, and reports.
• Experience working with SAP - an advantage.
• Experience working with BI systems - an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• High analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work in a team, order, responsibility, and ability to work independently.
