Senior Mechanical Engineering Purchasing Officer (Pan)

1. Purchase goods and services in accordance with procurement practices to ensure product quality meets requirements, is suitable for use, is delivered on time, and at an appropriate price.
2. Source and conduct Supplier Appraisal of suitable suppliers of goods and services to ensure they have the capability to deliver goods and services according to the specified quality and conditions at an appropriate price.
3. Compare various conditions and make decisions to purchase goods and services to achieve objectives in terms of quality, quantity, time, after-sales service, and the best Total Cost of Ownership.
4. Inspect and follow up after purchase orders are placed to ensure product quality and delivery comply with specified conditions, report information to supervisors, inform of evaluation results, and follow up on supplier corrective actions.
5. Coordinate with relevant departments to maintain good relationships with suppliers to resolve various issues related to payment for goods, services, and delivery.
6. Manage risks in obtaining goods or services by sourcing backup suppliers that can be compared or serve as substitutes.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or Science (Chemistry or Industrial). 3-5 years of experience in Purchasing, Engineering Sales, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or Maintenance. Good English communication skills. Able to calculate area, volume, specific gravity, and flow rate required for basic engineering tasks. Able to read and understand engineering Drawings. Excellent negotiation skills.
