Service Engineer
Responsible for providing technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for scientific, research, and laboratory diagnostic instruments to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and maintain continuous equipment operation.
- Installation and Commissioning: Install, configure, and verify lab instruments according to manufacturer standards.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform PM, instrument calibration, and on-site troubleshooting to minimize Downtime.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve hardware and software issues, providing both On-site and Remote consultation.
- Training and Handover: Provide basic usage and maintenance training to users after installation.
- Reporting and Documentation: Record service history, repair requests, and spare parts requisitions in the system.
- Coordination: Work with the sales team, Product Specialist, and overseas manufacturers regarding spare parts and claims.
- Safety and Standards: Strictly comply with safety regulations and the company's quality policies.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Medical Technology, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in field service, maintenance, or technical support for laboratory instruments, analytical instruments, or medical diagnostic tools. Possess analytical and troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems; understand instrument software systems and computer connectivity. Good English language skills; able to read technical manuals, attend training with overseas manufacturers, and write service reports. Mobility: Must have a driver's license, a private car, and be able to travel for provincial assignments or attend overseas training. Interpersonal skills: Service-minded, possess problem-solving skills for immediate situations, and have a high sense of responsibility.
