Production Planning and Control (PPC) Manager - Amyad

Job Purpose:

Overall responsibility for managing the production, materials, and inventory planning and control system within the company, while ensuring optimal supply to customers, meeting service targets, delivery times and inventory levels, and continuous improvement of planning and operational processes.

Areas of Responsibility and Authority:

• Professional and personal management of the PPC team and leading them to meet departmental goals.
• Responsibility for production planning in accordance with customer orders, production capacities, and raw material availability.
• Construction, management, and control of short-term and medium-term production plans.
• Responsibility for managing the availability of raw materials and components to meet production plans.
• Management and control of inventory levels in accordance with company targets.
• Monitoring compliance with On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets, Lead Time, and operational performance metrics.
• Routine work with Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, Engineering, Quality, and Sales departments to coordinate work plans.
• Responsibility for coordinating and synchronizing production and supply plans with the company's subsidiaries and global sites.
• Routine work and providing professional responses to subsidiaries regarding planning, supplies, and order management.
• Monitoring supply performance to subsidiaries and leading actions to improve service levels and delivery times.
• Analysis of production, inventory, and supply performance data, generating management reports, and presenting recommendations for decision-making.
• Identification of bottlenecks, operational risks, and deviations, and leading corrective actions.
• Leading improvement and efficiency processes in planning, control, and inventory management.

Required Education and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management or a relevant field - Mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience in PPC/Supply Chain roles in a manufacturing organization.
• Experience in people management - Mandatory.
• Experience in production planning, inventory management, and material control.
• High proficiency in ERP systems (SAP is an advantage).
• High proficiency in Excel.
• High level of English (reading, writing, and speaking).
