RD & Procurement Specialist

*Product Research and Development Responsibilities*

1. Collect data, invent, and present ideas for product design and development according to customer needs and company policies.
2. Study dietary supplement market trends and consumer behavior to identify new opportunities.
3. Develop product formulas, experiment with ingredients, and design flavors that meet customer requirements.
4. Coordinate with manufacturing plants and suppliers related to products and materials.
5. Test and improve products for efficiency and compliance with specified standards.

*Procurement and Supplier Management Responsibilities*

1. Source and negotiate with both domestic and international suppliers regarding related products and raw materials.
2. Procure raw materials, equipment, and packaging at cost-effective prices with good and appropriate quality.
3. Monitor inventory and plan procurement processes for maximum efficiency.

*Brand Product Development Responsibilities*

1. Collaborate with executives to design and develop new brands and products.
2. Analyze market needs and trends to ensure competitiveness.
3. Work with the marketing team to promote the brand image and products.

*General Administrative Tasks*

1. Collect and store data regarding product development and procurement.
2. Prepare summaries and progress reports of work processes for executives.
3. Control and monitor work processes to comply with quality standards and FDA legal requirements.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Nutrition, Engineering, or other related fields. At least 3-5 years of experience in product design and development and procurement. Good English communication skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. Possess negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships. Understand consumer behavior and market trends regarding dietary supplement products. High attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills. Prior experience in the dietary supplement manufacturing industry or FMCG business will be specially considered. Good knowledge of ingredients, raw materials, and packaging in the dietary supplement group. Knowledge and ability regarding the process of importing goods from abroad will be specially considered. Able to travel to visit suppliers or attend trade shows both domestically and internationally occasionally. Prior training in GMP, GHP, HACCP, ISO22000, and HALAL standard systems will be specially considered. Able to work Monday - Saturday, 08:30 - 17:30.
