Substation Design Engineer (Substation Design Engineer - Switchyard)

1. Design Single Line Diagrams (SLD) for high-voltage substations
2. Prepare high-voltage equipment installation drawings (Substation Layout Plan, Elevation, and Section Drawings) and prepare calculation documents for substation works
3. Draft detailed installation drawings for high-voltage equipment and grounding system installation in substations
4. Prepare layout drawings for equipment placement in substation control rooms, such as control and protection relay panels, lighting panels, switchgear panels, batteries, etc.
5. Design Mechanical and Electrical systems, including cable installation and Transmission line installation in substations and industrial plants
6. Design and calculate Grounding/Earthing Systems and Direct Lightning Protection systems
7. Calculate Electrical Clearances, Busbar Mechanical Force, and perform AIS/GIS/MTS equipment selection
8. Prepare calculation lists and Technical Specifications & Data Sheets for Primary equipment procurement
9. Prepare Single Line Diagrams and Preliminary Layouts for substation project bidding

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Power Engineering Junior Level: Fresh graduates or those with 1–3 years of experience in electrical system design are welcome Senior Level: At least 5 years of direct experience in Substation design (Primary or Secondary) Knowledge and understanding of international engineering standards such as IEEE, IEC, ANSI, CIGRE, including substation construction standards such as PEA, MEA, or EGAT standards Ability to use design and calculation software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, MicroStation, ETAP, DIgSILENT, or CYME Knowledge or ability to use 3D / BIM software (such as Revit, Bentley Substation) will be given special consideration Good technical English communication skills (ability to read/write Specification documents) Problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and ability to work with others Possession of a professional engineering license (Associate Engineer level or higher) will be given special consideration
