Community Manager
Sber counts 30+ professional communities. Communities help tens of thousands of IT specialists exchange experience and knowledge, launch cool initiatives, develop engineering culture, and become the locomotive of a large transformation.
The mission of the DWH/BigData community: to increase competencies and facilitate the growth of engineers through knowledge exchange and the adoption of best practices when working with data.
The task of the DWH/BigData community: to develop a space for professional competency development in areas such as the Hadoop ecosystem, PostgreSQL, GreenPlum, StarRocks, Doris, as well as BI tools.
Tasks
- implementation of the community development strategy, working with metrics, analytics, and goals, maintaining statistics and ensuring growth of indicators, developing development proposals
- organization and conducting of internal and external events (meetups, conferences, round tables, podcasts, etc.)
- organization of external IT speeches by community speakers (working with contractors, budgeting), their development
- regular interaction with community members, increasing engagement, maintaining a registry of participants, attracting and retaining new members, identifying needs and collecting feedback from participants
- management of information channels (internal and external), content management (writing and publishing announcements, posts/news on social networks), creating event landing pages, preparing various presentations related to community activities
- development of the Habr direction – searching for news hooks and authors for publishing content from Sber employees, assistance at every stage of the process
- implementation of projects for engineer development and experience exchange – educational courses, onboarding, mentoring, knowledge bases, etc., close interaction with Sber University, the Marketing and Communications Department, and HR.
Requirements
- higher education (technical and/or marketing/public relations)
- at least 2 years of experience in a DevRel/ IT community manager role
- experience in independent organization of projects and events of various formats (400+ people)
- strong organizational and communication skills; facilitation skills
- advanced skills in independent content development (posts, articles, etc.) and adaptation/adjustment of ready-made facts and materials, design skills, creating presentations
- ability to analyze problems, work with statistics, propose and test hypotheses, create and propose solution concepts that meet the tasks
- English language proficiency at the Upper-Intermediate level
Will be a plus:
- basic knowledge of agile approaches and practices
- basic skills in working with LLM/AI tools.
