WAF Expert

Working as an expert in the team supporting and developing the Web Application Firewall (WAF). Increasing the security of protected assets. Performing routine maintenance work. Developing and refining documentation. Consulting colleagues on functioning and onboarding for protection. Troubleshooting emergencies. Participating in the investigation of IS incidents.

Requirements

Higher education in the field of information security or higher technical education and a professional retraining diploma in the field of information security. Knowledge of Linux operating systems at a system administrator level. Knowledge of the OSI model and the network protocol stack. Knowledge and understanding of OWASP. Skill in working with Web Application Firewalls (WAF). Proficient knowledge of Nginx, tcpdump, unix-socket. Understanding of UNIX-PAM (built-in to the system). Skill in analyzing system logs. Fluency in bash-scripts. Knowledge of English at the level of reading technical documentation (software administrator guides, vulnerability bulletins).
