IT Unit Head

Working in the Service Desk system with user requests (monitoring SLA compliance); Establishing workflows for the implementation and operation of software products and IT services; Supporting IT contracts regarding the monitoring of terms fulfillment; Developing IT infrastructure that meets business needs; Implementing the industry policy of software Import Substitution; Developing and submitting for approval instructions and proposals for improving the operation of software and hardware complexes; Informing the Head of the IT Department about existing deficiencies in the operation of the enterprise's server/network equipment and measures taken to eliminate them; Planning preventive maintenance for technical systems; Participating in restoring system functionality during failures and network equipment breakdowns; Creating and maintaining a knowledge base for typical tasks; Drafting instructions for working with network software; Monitoring the use of network resources; Conducting research and analysis of the information services market to ensure the production and management of the enterprise with modern information technologies; Ensuring network security and the security of inter-network interaction; Identifying critical failures in the operation of IT infrastructure and information systems; Planning capacity expansion according to forecasts of IS and user growth; Working with vendors regarding the resolution of problem cases with software or hardware.

Requirements

Knowledge of English, fluent reading and understanding of technical documentation; Deep understanding of the architecture for building fault-tolerant scalable solutions (Windows, Virtualization Systems, Linux); Knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server product lines, Linux-like systems; Knowledge of network technologies, methods of applying computing equipment and telecommunications, types of technical information media, and rules for their storage and operation; Knowledge of the fundamentals of labor organization; Knowledge of software product integration mechanisms; Basic knowledge of ITIL, MOF recommendations; Skills in working with IT documentation (creation, maintenance); Ability to work with a command line (CMD, PWSH, Bash-like); Communicativeness, stress resistance; ability to self-learn and work autonomously.

Higher education — specialist degree, master's degree; Experience: 3 years
