Presales Engineer (Switchgear Manufacturer)

The position holder will be daily involved in the preparation of techno-economic offers. More specifically, they will study customer requests, offering alternative solutions to their needs. They also propose alternative solutions according to the designs, specifications, and quality standards that are defined.
Main Responsibilities:
- Proposes new innovative technologies by offering products with added value to customers
- Knows the competition and the company's external environment, assesses the market – identifies opportunities
- Costs materials, budgets the required space and production time
- Provides information regarding the indicative delivery time prior to award
- Collaborates closely with the Project Engineer in case of order receipt and informs them of the critical points
- Maintains statistics of the issued offers
- Trains and develops students conducting their internship
Required Qualifications:
- University Degree (AEI - TEI) in Electrical Engineering or Automation
- 1 – 2 years of professional experience in a similar position or in the industry
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Commercial mindset and strong negotiation skills
- Developed communication, organization, and team spirit
- Self-motivation and result-oriented focus
- Very good knowledge of the English language
