Overseas Procurement & Sourcing Manager (Fabrics and Textiles)
- Manage and plan the procurement of fabric, textile, and bedding product groups from overseas to align with the company's goals and budget.
- Source, select, and develop overseas suppliers, while comparing prices, quality, and trading terms.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery terms to achieve maximum benefit for the organization.
- Oversee the overseas ordering process, including monitoring production, shipping, and product importation.
- Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and business partners to ensure efficient operations.
- Control and verify documents related to Import-Export, including coordinating with Shipping and Forwarder.
- Travel abroad to select products, visit factories, and develop relationships with manufacturers.
- Develop and manage Home Bedding and Home Textile product groups both domestically and internationally to align with market trends and customer demands.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, Home Textiles, or other related fields. At least 5-10 years of experience in overseas procurement or the textile industry (Textile/Garment/Home Textile). Good command of English in speaking, reading, and writing (Chinese language skills will be specially considered). Knowledge of fiber types, fabric structures, fabric weight (GSM), dyeing, printing, and textile production processes. Experience in procurement of fabrics, sewing accessories, or Home Bedding/Home Textile product groups will be specially considered. Possess negotiation skills, supplier management skills, and knowledge of Import-Export, Customs Clearance, and Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW). Understand importation processes, customs formalities, Incoterms (such as FOB, CIF, EXW), and coordination with Shipping/Forwarder. Able to travel abroad for work. Experience in overseas procurement and having a network of textile suppliers will be specially considered.
