Incoming Inspection Responsible

Performing incoming inspection of components, raw materials, and supplier assemblies to ensure compliance with drawing requirements, specifications, and quality procedures before releasing material for use in production.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing visual and physical inspections of incoming components according to drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, height gauges, and other inspection tools as needed.
• Verifying compliance with quality certificates, CoC, supplier specifications, and procurement requirements.
• Documenting inspection results in quality systems or ERP and maintaining traceability records.
• Identifying non-conformities, opening NCR, marking, and segregating non-conforming material until an MRB / Quality / Engineering decision is made.
• Routine work with procurement, engineering, quality, production, and suppliers to clarify deviations and improve supplier quality.
• Supporting internal and external audits through organized and complete inspection records.

Requirements

• Mechanical / Electronics / Mechatronics Technician or Engineer, or significant practical experience in the field.
• At least two years of experience in incoming inspection, quality control, or a controlled manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with GMP, ISO 13485, or a regulated manufacturing environment - a significant advantage.
• Proficiency with measurement tools and accurate documentation skills.
• Thorough approach, independence, and the ability to notice details and adhere to procedures.
• Ability to lead QC processes from end to end.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents in English - drawings, specifications, quality certificates, and procedures.
