Deputy General Director for Operations (Fleet)

Manages and controls the actions of officials of the subordinate departments for occupational health and safety and technical operation of the fleet, as well as the maritime safety department and the motor transport operation unit. Controls the implementation of the rules for the technical operation of ship equipment, mechanisms, and technical means on vessels. Controls the rational use of consumables. Organizes the provision of the Company with all resources necessary for its activities of the required quality, as well as the control of receiving reports on their consumption. Controls and ensures repair, maintenance (ТО), planned preventive maintenance (ППР), equipping vessels with new equipment, and the improvement of technical means. Ensures quality control, deadlines, and cost of vessel repairs. Organizes investigations and draws up reports on cases of accidents and failures of ship equipment, their analysis, and the development of measures to prevent them in the future. Controls the organization of the intra-vessel service on the Company's vessels. Takes measures for the effective reduction of operating expenses for the fleet. Ensures tugs are supplied with marine fuel. Maintains control over the implementation of orders regarding minimum fuel and oil reserves on board. Ensures control over the implementation on vessels of the requirements of national and international regulations, orders, and regulations. Ensures the preparation and controls the execution of the budget of the Fleet Technical Operation Service, the Maritime Safety Department, the Occupational Health and Environmental Safety Service, and the Motor Transport Operation Unit. In case of operational necessity, prepares documents and interacts in its part with contractors. Coordinates changes to contract terms with contractors. Controls the execution of contracts and the material and technical supply of the Company. Organizes claim work on current contracts with contractors together with the Company's lawyers and the responsible executor.

Requirements

higher professional (maritime, engineering, or economic) education, management experience of at least 5 years, English language, computer skills
