Packaging Supervisor

The Greek bakery production industry STAVROS NENDOS SA – SELECT is looking for a Packaging Shift Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Management of shift personnel and effective human resources management
• Coordination of the distribution of appropriate individuals to workstations based on schedule needs
• Daily monitoring of production process adherence (order execution, schedule preparation according to orders, compliance with quality specifications and production parameters)
• Preparation of packaging machines and necessary equipment, according to the production schedule.
• Monitoring the smooth operation of packaging lines
• Reporting problems arising during packaging
• Adherence to the company's quality system procedures and cooperation with the Quality department
• Cooperation with their Superiors and Subordinates for the smooth execution of the schedule
• Training new subordinates for the needs of the positions in the department
• Continuous updating/evaluation regarding efficiency and progress
• Adherence to the cleaning schedule of all production areas within the areas of responsibility
• The role reports to the Head of the Packaging department

Required Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience in the food industry in a packaging supervisor position
• Knowledge of operating packaging machines and other corresponding machinery will be appreciated
• Possession of a degree in Engineering, Food Technology, or equivalent will be considered an additional qualification
• Very good knowledge of the English language
• Very good IT knowledge
• Ability to work in shifts (morning – afternoon)
