Finance Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager with an accounting background to join the Finance Department and lead a variety of cross-functional projects and tasks with business impact. Areas of Responsibility

In the first stage of the role, you will serve as the actual manager of the Procurement Chartering & Administration department and will be responsible for:

• Managing payments and accounts in the field of ships and Chartering.
• Managing and controlling payments and account balances with ship owners and charterers.
• Monitoring cash flow forecasts and financial control reports.
• Supporting financial reporting closing processes and meeting control and compliance requirements.
• Managing payments and accounts for HO suppliers; responsibility for supplier payments and financial administrative activity.
• Controlling VAT and tax reporting and meeting regulatory requirements.
• Supporting quarter and year-end closing processes, accounting provisions, and SOX requirements.
• Managing financial reporting in the Equipment field.
• Leading the preparation and control of quarterly and annual financial reports in this field.
• Performing financial analyses and controlling provisions and reconciliations.
• Maintaining financial controls and meeting reporting and regulatory requirements.

The position is located in Matam Park - Haifa (Hybrid - one working day per week from home)

What are we looking for?

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) after internship in one of the Big 4 firms - Mandatory
• Up to two years of experience in employee management or leading teams - Mandatory
• Experience in auditing global, public, or large companies will be a significant advantage
• High level of English for working with international interfaces
• Ability to learn quickly, business thinking, and a desire to develop into leadership and management roles in the future
