Procurement Buyer for NOFIT Light Rail

Electra Group is recruiting a Procurement Buyer for the NOFIT Light Rail project at Electra Infrastructure to manage end-to-end procurement processes within the project.

As part of the role:

• Professional and project-based procurement management in volumes of tens of millions of NIS per year.
• Reading and analyzing technical specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and plans.
• Sourcing suppliers in Israel and abroad, managing commercial negotiations, and leading contracting processes in Hebrew and English.
• Performing price comparisons, analyzing historical procurement, and building target prices.
• Managing framework agreements and establishing price lists for routine procurement.
• Monitoring orders, deliveries, and schedules (Expediting).
• Routine work with project managers, engineers, planners, execution personnel, and suppliers.

Full-time position, Sun-Thu, 08:00-17:00 | Project offices in Kiryat Ata

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Procurement Buyer in the fields of infrastructure, construction, electromechanics, or turnkey construction – Mandatory.
• Experience in managing procurement for complex engineering projects – Mandatory.
• Proven experience in commercial negotiations with suppliers in Israel and abroad.
• High level of English – reading and understanding technical specifications and managing business communication.
• Experience working with Priority and ERP systems – Mandatory.
• Full proficiency in Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel.
• Ability to work independently, order and organization, commercial thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a multi-tasking and deadline-driven environment.
