Purchasing Manager

1. Collaborate with supervisors to define policies and operating regulations to serve as guidelines for the procurement and sourcing of raw materials, production consumables, packaging, equipment, tools, machinery, and construction, repair, and maintenance materials, as well as the procurement of service contractors related to the production process or engineering systems.
2. Arrange for price inquiries, bidding, and selection of suppliers meeting specified qualifications, as well as approve supplier evaluation results.
3. Study, monitor, and forecast market conditions regarding raw materials, assets, and consumables, and seek new sources to maintain reserves in case of shortages.
4. Provide advice and consultation in case of operational problems encountered by subordinates and find preventive and corrective measures.
5. Participate in reviewing operating regulations, work procedures, obstacles, and the goals of the Purchasing Department to ensure they are consistent and practical in order to achieve objectives according to the quality policy.
6. Collaborate with supervisors in defining the department's management structure, defining the scope of authority, and duties and responsibilities of subordinates; select personnel for employment; monitor performance to identify progress, problems, or obstacles in order to find timely improvement measures; as well as conduct annual performance evaluations and use those evaluation results to analyze training and potential development needs to ensure appropriate performance in the position, or for considering promotions, transfers, or removals.
7. Prepare and propose the annual budget of the Purchasing Department for consideration and approval; supervise, inspect, and control budget expenditures.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in any field Good English communication skills At least 5 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or contracting at a management level Knowledge of purchasing and importing goods from abroad Able to drive a car
